Write a message to your guests. This could be a simple “Welcome to my family / Australia” or a short blurb about how excited you are to meet them.
Share something about yourself, your home and your family - hobbies, pets, interests, occupations etc. Include as much information as you can to get your students excited about meeting you!
We’ll need some information about the members in your family. Every permanent resident over the age of 18 must have the relevant Working With Children Check in place before hosting a student and these must be kept up to date. Our hostfamily team will be in contact to get you started on the relevant form. >
Please list the names and ages of any other residents in your home
Students like to put a face to a name, and see where they’ll be living while they’re here in Australia.
Please upload some photos of your home and family
Use some of suggestions below, but add photos as you see fit.
Add a Photo
Just so you know, these photos are only provided to students once you’ve accepted their placement. They’re not made available anywhere else online or for public viewing. Your host manager may take more photos of your home when they come to interview you if they think your profile is missing something.

Please tick if your family needs to have a student that has any special requirements. We will make sure we don’t place a crazy meat eater with your family. Or if you don’t mind just choose ‘no preference.’
If you don’t feel comfortable giving your bank details yet, don’t worry - you can leave this section empty until later.
Working With Children Check
If you have a Working With Children Check (WWC) clearance, please enter the details below. Haven’t got a WWC yet? Don’t worry, we will help you apply for one. You can come back and fill this section out again later. Visit the WWC website here.
If there’s an extra email address or phone number we can contact you on, please let us know here. This could be your partner’s, your work, etc.
We’ll use these details in an emergency or if we can’t contact you using the details provided in the initial stage of your application.
